The Bible says that the church is a "pillar and buttress of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15). It is vital, therefore, that a local church teaches and believes the truth!

At Mountain View Baptist Church we believe that and wholeheartedly hold to the inerrant and infallible Word of God as found in the sixty-six books of the Bible as our sole authority and final source of faith and practice. As a good summary of what we believe the Bible teaches, we have come to adopt the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as our primary statement of faith, believing this historic confession to be a faithful expression of Scripture.
