Mountain View Baptist Church

The Bible says that the church is "a pillar and buttrress of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15) and that God's people are to "contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3). What any given local church teaches and believes, therefore, is very important!

At Mountain View Baptist Church we wholeheartedly hold to the inerrant and infallible Word of God as found in the sixty-six books of the Bible as our sole authority and final source of faith and practice. As a good summary of what we believe the Bible teaches, we have come to adopt the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as our primary statement of faith, believing this historic confession to be a faithful expression of Scripture.
